oh.... a history. well, it's like this: a while back my two toms and bucky played a show together, and at the end we played some songs as a weird kind of supergroup. aaron, who runs stitch-stitch records saw it and asked us to do a record together. and eventually we did. we went to joff's parents' house in somerset in november and spent a weekend recording and mixing it. we also found time to go to the terrifying bridgewater illuminated carnival and play with the dog. then aaron took what we'd done and spent a bunch of money on getting it made into a 10" vinyl record. we designed all the stuff for it and put it all together, and there you go!

the things people played on the record are as follows -

s.roberts - handsome singing, guitar, slide, drums, baritone ukelele
t.stubbs - banjo, guitar, baritone ukelele, recordist
t.cops - banjo, melodica, xylophone, guitar, slide, banjolele, drums, autoharp, some singing, stills camera
j.winterhart - drums, harmonica, woodblock, toolbox, coke bottle, some singing
l.brook - some singing, coke bottle, stills camera, ...with the dog

l-r - t.cops, s.roberts, chippie the dog, j.winterhart, t.stubbs
